Henna Brows

Say goodbye to that brow pencil and say Hello Henna Brows! The latest in brow treatments that lasts longer, contains no chemicals and achieves the look you want.

Henna brows are a new alternative to more traditional tinting methods that have been developed to give clients an alternative option when considering their brow needs.

Lasts Up To 4 Weeks / Vegan Product / Stronger Colour / Natural Treatment

Henna brows are a type of tinting that stains the skin giving you tinted hairs for up to 4 weeks and a tint on the skin that can last anywhere from 2-10 days. It's a fantastic way to try out a shape before committing to semi-permanent makeup, or if you just want your eyebrows shaped and filled temporarily.

Henna has been around for thousands of years and has been used for hair dye, body art, and makeup.  A lot of people associate henna with the colour red, but henna brows are specially formulated to give a range of colours that are absolutely perfect for eyebrows.

Why Henna Brows?

Henna Brows use entirely plant based ingredients making it a safe and gentle dying process, in fact it’s an entirely vegan and organic product!

The plant base makes it a perfect treatment for people with sensitive skin or who may be allergic to the hydrogen peroxide or ammonia that is normally found in the more traditional dyes. It’s a great alternative for those looking for a more natural treatment that avoids putting chemicals on to their skin (the dye is only mixed with water).

How long do Henna Brows last?

Unlike traditional tints that might only last a day or two on the skin, Henna will usually last up to two weeks on the skin, with the tint to the hair lasting up to four weeks.

  • Consultation
Every Henna Brow treatment starts with a consultation where our Stylists help you based on your face shape, skin tone and of course, your style.

    Tinting
The Henna dye will be applied to your brows to achieve your desired look. This is a very quick process as the dye act rapidly on the skin and hair.

    Waxing
Your stylist will begin to create your dream eyebrow shape through waxing. They’ll keep in mind any areas where you may want to re-grow hair, working towards your long-term brow goals.

    Tweezing and finishing
We’re perfectionists, so this is where we work to make those fresh brows even fresher. If necessary, your stylist will tweeze any stray hairs and trim unruly hairs down.

    Aftercare
Your stylist will finish the treatment with some aftercare advice to help you maintain your results.

  • Everyone has different ideas of how they want their brows to look which is why we stock five different colour shades to find the right style for each of our clients. The way in which the dye is applied can be varied to help achieve the look you are wanting. For example, it’s painted on and patted in to skin until it dries, so it can be patted on lighter at the bulb of the brows, make it denser in the middle and stronger at the tail to give an ombre look. As with most thing that we offer here at Beauty at the Gate, it can be completely tailored to you.

  • With Henna Brows, the shape and colour is tailored to you as an individual as they have to suit your style and look. Your brows can be made dark or light, thick or thin, sharp or soft.

Henna is particularly good for those with sparse or overplucked brows as the dye not only colours the hairs, but tints the skin too.

If you would prefer to just tint the hair and create the perfect shape, HD Brows may be a better treatment for you.

Also, if your style is big, bold and bushy then Laminated Brows may be the treatment for you.
